2024: What a robust dahlia. Overwintered very well this winter, 2023-2024. I have about 20 divided tubers all budded up, am planting.

2021: Where and when it started: Planting in new front gardens by Star Magnolia. Bought tubers at Costco, Penhill Autumn Shade and Magic Sunrise. Grew both at Project Grow community garden in 2020. In 2021, we now have a sunny front yard garden bed for them, with more room.

Potted up during warm days in April. Brought indoors after 10 day stint of warm weather ended. This plant grew vigorously, and was one of the first to transplant in May.

In 2022, still one of the most vigorous dahlias that I have, and what blooms! It may be a sport of the original Penhill Autumn Shade.
