February 17, 2020 - February 24, 2020: Seeds sown ((net) Pierwszą partię ostnicy wysiałam 4 lutego. Growing: the seeds require low temperatures to germinate evenly. .
(barry) Please purchase a seed flat with cells that are a minimum of 1" cell openings and one that is at least 2.5"deep. When fear of frost is over fill the flat with a sand peaty soil and plant one seed per cell.. I encourage you to sow 1 seed per cell being certain that each seed is lightly covered. Be vigilant to ensure that the cells never dry out. I encourage you to single plant the seeds so that you will have a better chance at raising individual plants; more is always better than not enough. They will be wonderful with the lavender bed off the driveway. )
February 24, 2020: Plant emerged ((net) Dokładnie siedem dni później przeniosłam paletkę z wysiewami na widny parapet, bo nastąpiły już pierwsze wschody.)
March 2, 2020 - March 16, 2020: Seeds germinated ((net) For the first 2 to 4 weeks, keep them at a temperature of around 18°C.)
March 18, 2020 - May 13, 2020: Seeds germinated (trzymać na dworze (net) then for the next 4 to 6 weeks, lower the temperature to minus 4°C to plus 2°C. After the colder period, the temperature should be raised again to 5 to 12°C. Any higher temperature (above 20°C) is harmful, therefore when you sow the seeds early, do take advantage of the natural weather conditions. Plant out into a permanent position well-rooted.)
March 23, 2020: Transplanted ((net)Około 10-ego marca siewki miały już trzy źdźbła i popikowałam je do osobnych pojemniczków. Siałam do gotowego podłoża, natomiast przepikowałam do żyznej gliny zmieszanej pół na pół z grubym żwirem (tym do posypywania chodników zimą). I tu mam lukę w zdjęciach. W każdym bądź razie trawa rosła w tym czasie błyskawicznie)
May 24, 2020: Transplanted ((net) 9 maja wysadziłam rozrośnięte już kępki do gruntu.)
August 12, 2020: Maintenance performed (nie przycinać; Niektórzy na tym etapie je przycinają, ale dla mnie to zbrodnia. To nie jest trawa dla "czyściochów", dla wielbicieli jeżyków lepsze będę kostrzewy)
September 16, 2020: Harvested (We wrześniu moje końskie grzywy były już tak skudłacone, że doczekały się czesania. Otrzymałam dwie pełne, wielkie puszki nasion.
