A quick maturing round red European type radish. Dependable performer and 7-10 days earlier than Sparkler or Ping Pong. Competitive with Early Scarlet Globe, but not quite as uniform.
Watermelon radish is a winter radish, but surprisingly easy to grow here. I used some seeds to mark a spring carrot planting, not really expecting a crop from them. Did remarkably well and took only a few more days than White Icicle. Has become my favorite winter radish. It goes a top similar to a turnip and which is delicious as a milder version of turnip green
An excellent early radish for this area. Vigorous grower, uniform size, and very visually appealing.
A 25 day round bright red with white tip radish. This one is pretty but is not as early as Cherry Belle or as dependable as Early Scarlet Globe. A high percentage tend to bolt, even when competing cultivars have zero plants bolting.
30 days, crisp white globe, aka White Button, White Globe, White Hailstone
Great seeds for young children. Plant direct in the ground and harvest colorful radishes in about a month. The mix offered by Territorial Seed is an equal blend of Ruby, Plum Purple, and Snow Belle. Other seed companies may differ, but the idea is the same - a radish rainbow.
A very uniform bulbing 30 day hybrid. Excellent size and flavor. Easily in the radish top 10.
An old-time, round red radish that is very early. Not as good as Early Scarlet Globe, but quite acceptable and reliable.
