The info on the database says that the bloom sizes of this plant is 2-3 inches, but mine almost always get under 2-3 inches. The zone we are in may have something to do with it.
Many have mistaken this plant for "Oleander (Nerium oleander 'Peach Blossom')" because of the buds' color (I have made this mistake myself), but don't be fooled by this.
I've read on the internet the minimum zone requirement is 9a. I live on the borderline of 7b and 8a, and even during the worst winters, the tender tips freeze, but not the older leaves. I have mine planted on the west side of my house in an exposed area and it has done well for 10 years. It’s very drought tolerant too. I never water it, even during bad droughts.
Even though most oleanders have just a wonderful fragrance, to me Hardy White's fragrance is even more heavenly.

The differences may seem obvious to you, but 'Hardy White' and 'Island of Capri' [i]do[/i] get mixed up sometimes. The #1 way to identify them is that 'Island of Capri's flowers have a yellowish-orange-colored center, and 'Hardy White's flowers are just plain white.
Oleander (Nerium oleander 'Twist of Pink') has a prettier foliage than most oleanders. Most oleanders' leaves are the color of just one solid green.
Most oleanders bloom in great numbers per year, but this oleander is one that blooms more than most oleanders. Likely the only one to bloom in greater numbers than this oleander is 'Hardy White'.
Many people confuse this oleander with Double Pink Oleander ([i]Nerium oleander[/i] 'Splendens') because the flower color and structure is very similar.
