I live in Mesa, Az and have 7 Italian Cypress trees and want to know how often to water them? Also, some of the branches are hanging down, do you trim the branches? Thank you.

Your Italian cypresses have a moderate water need so be sure you water them deeply twice a week during the hottest summer month and taper off to once a week during the fall, winter and spring. The drooping branches can indicate a need for water. Adjust your watering schedule and I think you'll see an improvement. I'd leave the drooping branches alone for now. If they are still drooping this fall, go ahead and trim them. Enjoy your landscape!
