Hi, advice would be most appreciated. I would like to plant one statement tree in the circular lawn area of our driveway but can't decide. Thinking a native to encourage birds and bees. Have a drain running under drive. Prunus Avium?? Many thanks, Becca |

| An Amelanchiar would be a good choice . It has a lovely white Spring blossom which attracts bees, fruit in summer for the birds and a superb Autumn colour foliage. Not native, but does attract beneficial insects |
