Bird of Paradise leaf stem cracked, what should I do? - Knowledgebase Question

Hi folks, My Bird of paradise cracked just below the leaf, is there a way to salvage this? The pins were from me trying to help get it to support itself, should I try to artificially support it so maybe it can heal? its about 50% still connected.

Sorry but a leaf will not glue itself back to the petiole. You can leave the leaf for as long as its green, it is helping to feed your plant.
