what should i do if my plant's leafs are folding up? and why is it that the water drains so fast when i water my plant?

If water pours out of the drainage holes as soon as you apply the water, I think your potting soil has developed air pockets near the roots and the soil is not soaking up and holding moisture. The way to combat this is to set the potted plant into a larger container of water (a bowl or a sink full of water) and allow it to sit for about 15 minutes or until no more air bubbles rise to the surface of the water. Once the potting soil is completely moistened it will accept the water you apply and drain a lot slower. The leaves of the plant should stop wilting, too, once the soil is completely hydrated.
