| It's still a little early in the season to remove the mulch material. I'd wait another 3 weeks. You can brush the straw away from any perennials that are beginning to poke their heads up out of the mulch. This will give them a little extra growing room and you'll still be able to cover over them if frost threatens later in the month. Enjoy your garden! |
