Fertilization for a tree - Knowledgebase Question

I have a peach tree and I ususally use a fertilization stump that is put in the ground. I was just wondering when the best time to put the fertilization stump in the ground would be?

Fertilizer spikes feed tree roots for several months and trees won't use the nutrients unless they are actively growing so the best time to install the spikes is in the spring when you see new leaves beginning to appear on the branches. Best wishes with your peach tree.
