Why won't our geraniums bloom?

The problem you are having with your geranium could be insufficient light. Geraniums grow best in full sun. They will tolerate partial shade, but usually will grow tall, producing few lateral branches and flowers. Always remove old flower heads. Also check to be sure they are getting enough fertilizer, but don't overdo it with nitrogen. A complete fertilizer such as 10-10-10 would be fine. A final thing to check would be for any fungal diseases. Look at the flower heads and if they seem to rot before openning you may have a disease.
