Cape Cod MA has very cold springs because of the surrounding ocean. What's the best time to plant lettuse and spinach?

Your local cooperative extension office suggests planting lettuces and spinach around April 10th. Both will germinate at temperatures as low as 32F and since they thrive in the cooler weather, I think it's good advice. Hope you have a great harvest.
