I have knock out roses and this is the first winter they have been through. They are very tall with no flowers on them. Someone told me they need to be cut back in the winter after the frost. Is this true?

You can prune your Knock Out roses in the spring, just as new growth begins. Prune yours back by one third to one half to promote healthy new growth, a more compact shape, and lots of flowers.
