Is it to early to cut my roses backand fertilize? I have hybrids and knockouts. |
I'd wait until all danger of frost has passed and the roses begin to show swelling buds on the stems. If you prune them back now and have a week or two of warm weather, new growth will begin. Then, if you have a late freeze, all the new growth will die back and you'll need to prune again. I'd just wait until early March to do any pruning. Enjoy your roses! |
