we planted over 20 palms..pigmy date..california fan palms..and queen palms.I mixed palm soil with the native soil and some of them are

Palm trees can take several months to establish after being planted, especially if planted during the heat of the summer. At this point just keep them well watered. As the weather cools the roots should establish and you should see new growth. When you do, you can prune off the dead foliage. Good luck with your new palms!
