Have a Hardy Gardenia planted this spring. I'm in Henderson, NV - Zone 9. Planted in amended soil. It's against a west facing wall that receives 4-6 hours of sun a day. Drip irrigation for 1 hr a day with a 2 gph emitter. Bloomed nicely but now the leaves are burned black and brown. I've tried compost tea and rose food but no difference.. Help. Smiling and thanks.

Sounds like a fungus so try treating your gardenia with a fungicide. I'd pick or prune off the affected leaves to keep the fungus from spreading.
