The National Wildlife Federation’s Ranger Rick will read stories to children; American Rose Society volunteers will offer their expertise; New York City Urban Park Rangers will conduct a planting program at Union Square Park; nonprofit partner organizations and sponsors will lead how-to workshops in such areas as: gardening for improved health, making your first compost pile, planting gorgeous containers, attracting butterflies to your yard, maintaining a wildlife-friendly backyard, and protecting our environment.
