Plant Relationships

Three weeks ago, in the introduction to this course, we stated that the theme of the course was relationships. We began by looking at plant-human relationships, focusing on the many roles plants play in our lives. And we spent quite a lot of time on plant reproduction—including some discussion about the various organisms involved in pollination and seed dispersal. In this final section of the course, we’ll be pulling together many of the different concepts, roles, and relationships we’ve mentioned over the last several weeks, in an attempt to shed some light on the complexity and diversity of ecosystems—including the ecosystem of your garden.
