Join us in the fight against cancer with Smokey's Daylilies "Collections for Cancer" fundraiser. The fundraiser is ending at the end of January.

"Co-Owner Kevin DeLucenay, now 5 years in remission from esophageal cancer, started a battle for his life back in 2010. It was a pivotal time for Kevin and Smokey's Daylilies. After acquiring a large farm of daylilies in Illinois, the company was tasked with moving hundreds of thousands of plants back to Indiana.
Kevin battled low survival rate and debilitating effects from the esophagectomy while trying to grow the company. Without the help of online resources, research, and statistics, as well as the sheer will to survive, he might not be alive today. Kevin has stated that he hopes to spread the word about the importance of patients taking an active role in researching and understanding their own health options. He intends to raise funds to help the American Cancer Society give people the knowledge they need to make important decisions that can have a deep impact on their own health and survivability."
