Sorry I haven't been online very much lately.
Here's a picture of Celtis laevigata (Sugar hackberry, very spiny) with both Ampelovirus (Hackberry mosaic virus) and Pachypsylla celtidisasterisca (Celti-Disaster-Isca? Hilarious! ), which is the Hackberry Star Gall Psyllid. Fun fun. Little donuts.



A gall-covered leaf of Malvaviscus arboreus. This is a very common gall-forming mite here. Notice how the galls have lots of trichome thingies on them (I think they're trichomes?)
