GaNinFl's blog: Hot temps but things to do...

Posted on Jul 3, 2017 9:56 AM

You know it will be a hot day, when by 8:30 it's already 85f. Still I've work to get done in the yard.

I cut in another 30' of the continued border bed along the fence in the back yard. I also added a few of the potted Daylily's to whittle down the pot ghetto that my DW despises. Well these were her potted CVs but beside the point I guess.

Of them the following were planted. Little Fat Dazzler, Cabbage Flower, Happy Returns, Lord Cornwallis, Hot Seceret, Silom's Doodle Bug and June Bug. I also threw one of mine in the mix when planting Colbalt Rings. 20' feet remains and she ask what I was planting in it? I said Daylily's of course. Her response "Daylily's are taking over". I chuckled and said what else. *laughing loudly

I did set out a Fig tree that she wanted. I didn't mind, as I love a fresh fig.

Had a new face show itself this morning. It is a CV acquired in the spring.
