During a recent family vacation in the Pigeon Forge area of the Great Smokey Mountains, I took a few photos and thought I would share.
This Laurel was growing out of a support log that a water trough was built on. The trough supplied water to the still working Mingus grist mill just outside of Cherokee, NC.
The photo below is of the trickling rock falls called 'The Place of a Thousand Drips' on the Roaring Fork Motor Trail in Gatlinburg, TN. Pictures never do it justice.
These are from the Old Mill area.
