I can't find anything on these.
Square stem, prickly, has grabby leaves under the normal ones, and itty bitty little purple flowers.
Very pretty, but I don't know if they'll hurt my ducks.

A bit of digging and it does indeed look to be German Madwort.
Thank you very much! It's good to know my ducks are safe, and that I have a useful plant growing nearby.
