Can you please advise which plant I can put on my paved driveway, it needs to be in a pot and will be in full sun up until approx 1p.m. I would like something colourful and not terribly difficult to care for as we are partially disabled

I'd suggest rose of sharon... Flowering ginger / canna / curcuma...
Maybe lantanna?
Plenty of stuff that blooms and tolerates neglect...
