My friend, Lethy, has it growing in her garden. She has never known its name... aside from Helleborus.
Several attempts on Google have been futile... for me anyway.

John, better photos of the blooms when they first open will be helpful. Might be too late now. I just cleaned up my daughter's hellebore today and the fading blooms are similar to your photo, but I'd never be able to ID them in their current condition. Here's how they look fresh

One of the double flowered forms of Helleborus x hybridus. There are many named cultivars.

Could be Golden Lotus Helebore

Not sure that Helleborus x hybridus Golden Lotus is a good match.

Quote below from link from Plant Delight Nursery...

"We are thrilled with the hand-crossed Helleborus 'Golden Lotus' seed strain from Oregon's Ernie and Marietta O'Byrne, which yields large double yellow flowers, often tinged with a pink picotee edge and back. As with all hellebore seed strains, each plant of Helleborus 'Golden Lotus' is slightly different, as shown in our image."

Think the PDN may have been a little over exuberant on the picture😀
This is my Golden Lotus, in the early spring, the flowers have a pink edge to them.
