Hi - when I was youngster, I worked as a corn pollinator. 20 years later, I'm looking to create my own hybred sweet corn seeds. Sounds like I'll need two distinct pure sweet corn lines. Any suggestions? I'd like a finished seed similar to My Fair Lady: https://www.highmowingseeds.co... Suggestions on seeds to start with (two varieties)? thank you

Most modern hybrids use inbred lines. Back when I was young, the first hybrid I tried Was Bantam Evergreen/Aristogold a direct cross between 12 row Golden Bantam and Stowell's Evergreen. It was an excellent late season sweet corn that I still remember fondly.
