'Adavier' is fairly new in our garden. We saw it as a "Best In Show" specimen at a show in Kentucky that we were judging, and had to have it!
We bought it from Steve Williams, the hybridizer. He always shares generous divisions. I'm hoping ours will look like
@thegardendeva 's wonderful display soon.
It's a charming and graceful small flower, free-flowering and a pretty clump wherever it's used.
It's hardy here in zone 6a and should be OK anywhere its parents do well. (Corky x Rococo).
It won an HM (Honorable Mention) from the American Hemerocallis Society. This is based on excellent garden performance. That makes it eligible for the next higher award, the Award of Merit. I suppose it will be hard for it to compete for that against the dozens of fancier candidates. Not every flower needs a pattern or fringy teeth or a bizarre form, though.
