While i was in sunny Tenerife last December my mature Brugs were in a cold greenhouse and shed under wrap but we had many nights and days of very hard severe frost - when I got back I managed to move them into the garage but now (March) they have green on the lower part of the stems but the barks has all gone soft and sort of mushy but if you rub it or cut there is green on the hard part of the stem - will it send shoots on the damaged stems or do I just hope it send fresh shoots up from the base and cut the old stems to ground level - any advise please
