In early November 2020 I went down barely over the border from southeast Pennsylvania into far northern Delaware in Talleyville because I could not recycle a TV in PA that just had died out. I took a scenic drive around an area just west of lots of shopping centers and business parks along huge Route 202. I came upon one last business park and found some wonderful climax forest with Beech, Oak, & Hickory behind it and west of it, and a low hill that still had some wild, native Loblolly Pines between two parking lots. Here are some photos of the forest, of a small colony of Bigtooth Aspen, of the Loblolly Pines (farther north than any of this southern species that I have ever seen), and some either Pignut or Mockernut Hickory in fall color.
