CommonCents | On October 28, 2015 | Seeds sown Not seeds, but rather rhizomes. Planted first batch for early 2016 season. Rhizomes were 'fresh ginger root' from local grocery store. |
CraftyFox | On February 9, 2021 | Obtained plant 3 gal: Shoots breaking soil today in 2 of the 3 gallon pots! CQ: Strange beet stain doesn't seem to be spreading on small pieces, though they are showing some other white rot along the calloused cuts.. Each of the pieces has a prominent developing bud that seems to have grown, seemingly in good health. Maybe tank water was a bad idea.. Hah! |
CraftyFox | On January 21, 2021 | Potted up Repotted to check. Noted 3-4" primary feeders developed on larger root in 3gfp, along with bud swelling.. Smaller pieces not nearly as developed. |
CraftyFox | On December 31, 2020 | Potted up Shallowly set 1" under, in a B-HQFP.. Calloused rhizome chunk approximately 1/2" diam. x 1" with three semi-dormant nubs in ProMix. Tankwatered- 4oz. |
