Recommended by iciris - Apr 17, 2019 10:18 PM I ordered some hibiscus early this year. The other day they arrived in great shape with huge roots. The largest one I had to pot up in a tree size pot. I will definitely order from this company again. |

Recommended by Pattyw5 - Feb 9, 2015 2:13 PM I agree that Chris is a great person. Great plants, and I love the recommendation sheets he sends with the plants. They include his personal advice for getting the plant off to a good start. Also devotes much time on his forum helping people with plant problems. Quite knowledgable when it comes to hostas. |
Recommended by 4susiesjoy - May 17, 2014 5:53 PM I ordered Hostas for the first time this year from Hallson's and was very impressed with the plants I got. The roots were very big and the plants were a lot bigger than I expected. They sent a very pretty bonus plant with the order, which was unexpected and very appreciated. I highly recommend them! |
Recommended by Cinta - Jun 26, 2013 5:25 PM Chris is the best. A few years ago I placed a gift order, and my purse was stolen just before he was ready to ship. I thought he had charged the card because I had ordered early and I did not notify him that the credit card was cancelled. He only charges when he is ready to ship. Another good policy not that common anymore, and he sends a valuable bonus plant rather than a junk plant. |
Recommended by OldGardener - Apr 20, 2013 2:42 PM Hallson Gardens is one of my primary "go-to" nurseries. The plants always have great root systems and Chris is fantastic to do business with. The bonuses have always dove-tailed with my orders, perfectly. |
Recommended by ge1836 - Feb 16, 2013 7:35 AM Chris is a great guy. Sends a bonus too. I have many hosta orders from Hallson. One bonus was a Salmon Classic bulb. It's my favorite early Asiatic lily. |
Recommended by jmorth - Jul 28, 2012 2:09 AM Although well known for their Hostas, they have a good selection of Lilium as well. In addition to many regular size lilies, they usually have a lot of dwarf lilies to offer. I've purchased multiple times since '09 and have always been satisfied. Reviews substantiate a stellar reputation. |
