note to self - planted a Swiss Chard, and a Coustralee (heirloom) tomato today
But there you are pretty pink as can be...
In the past couple days we have had snow/slush/hail/freezing rain/ice thunderstorms. Lots of good percipitation! Luckly not much travel trouble or property damage here...Nebraska, South Dakota, and Minnesota got it kind of bad with fallen trees, electric lines down, and dangerous travel.
Took these pictures today. We have had a few melts so this is not all of it by any means, and this too will be gone tomorrow of Saturday at the latest when temps go up to 54.
On a brighter note, the birds continue to dig through flower beds pulling up the leaf mulch for nesting. Yeah!
Another picture, this snow, slush, ice came yesterday (April 22nd) late afternoon cutting visability to .3 miles and making roads slick!
Will this be the last snow to report.... May 1st...all day long!!!! temps kept it fairly melted but it SNOWED all day!!!????!!!!
