We have a Mexican Heather hanging basket that we plan to bring inside in the Fall. Do you have any care tips to help it make it through the winter? |
Mexican Heather (Cuphea hyssopifolia) is grown as a houseplant in many regions. Bring yours indoors in late summer or early fall, give it bright light (indirect sunlight), keep the soil moist, and the temperatures between 55F at night and 70F during the day. The plant will winter over happily in the house and you can take it outdoors in the spring when daytime temperatures are in the mid-60's. |
