when should I prune my desert rose and how do I do it? I have two very tall stalks and several short ones.

You can prune your desert rose to make it branch out and look fuller (and produce more flowers). I would prune the tallest stems down to just above the height of the shorter ones. New stems will develop on the pruned parts and all the stems will be similar in height. Since desert rose flowers on new growth, this pruning should result in several new stems, and lots of new flowers. Enjoy!
