My oleander has seed pods. How do I know when to pick and plant the seeds?

Oleander seeds can be harvested and sown but the flower color may not remain true to the parent. Wait until the seed pod turns a tannish brown and is dry before harvesting the seeds. When the seed pod just begins to split you can harvest them.
