Something is eating the leaves on my begonias and pansys, can't see any bugs, what can I spray on them? they are not touching my daisy's or

If you don't see insect pests, I wonder if slugs or snails are busy eating the leaves after dusk? These critters feed at night and love the succulent leaves of begonias and pansies but tend to shy away from shamrock or daisy leaves because they are not as juicy. Go out at night with a flashlight to see if you can find these critters. Is so, use a slug/snail bait such as Sluggo. Just sprinkle it on the ground near your vulnerable plants and it should take care of the critters. Enjoy your garden!
