I am looking for blue poppy plants---I have tried growing the seeds with no success. Please advise the best way to get these plants and care needed for them.

The botanical name for blue poppies is Meconopsis betonicifolia.

The seeds for this plant need to be pre-chilled for about 3 weeks. In the U.S., blue poppies grow best in the Pacific Northwest's cool, moist summers and mild winters, so you will likely have difficulty growing them in your region.

You can try the following; they may have plants:

Gossler Farms Nursery, ph# 541-746-3922

Greer Gardens, ph# 541-686-8266
