How large of a root system does a snow fountains weeping cherry tree have? Is it simular to a weeping willow, where the roots will run toward a water source and will the root system damage the foundation of my house if planted within a 4 foot distance.

Most small ornamentals like Weeping Cherry do not have an aggressive root system. I would suggest you stay about 6 to 8 feet from your foundation. The root system of all plants extends well beyond the canopy of the plant in their search for moisture, and keeping 6-8 feet away from the house will allow enough room for the canopy of the tree to grow without coming in contact with the house.
