We just recently bought a house with almond trees. The almonds trees are very heathly but we don't know how or when to harvest them. Any suggestions?

Almonds are ready to harvest when the hulls split. They won't necessarily fall from the tree when they're ready, but you can knock them from the trees. Remove the leathery hull and spread hulled nuts in the sun for a day or two.

Fully dried almonds can be stored in an airtight container in a cool place. Enjoy!
