| Gazanias are native to South Africa and they don't make it through cold winters. You can take cuttings from your plants in the fall and grow them out for spring planting. Most gazanias available are hybrids, so seeds won't come true to the parent plant. (A hybrid plant is produced by cross pollinating two different parent plants.) Hybrid plants are labeled as such on seed packets and in catalog descriptions. If you have a non-hybrid type, you could save seed and sow it next spring. I hope this info helps! |
