Clematis on the Web
From Hull University in Great Britain comes Clematis on the Web, which lets you search an A to Z database of 3,165 varieties of clematis. You'll find the variety's height, flowering period, and pruning category and in most cases, a photograph as well. There are more than 2,940 photographs. There are also instructions for pruning clematis and links to other clematis websites.

8th Annual Tomato Festival
Nothing says summer like fresh, ripe tomatoes. On August 10 you'll get to taste your fill at the 8th Annual Tomato Festival at The Arboretum, State Botanical Garden of Kentucky on Saturday, August 10 from 1-4 p.m.. Come prepared to sample an amazing variety of locally grown tomatoes. Enjoy free tomato-based hors d'oeuvres created and prepared by local chefs. Whether you are a tomato lover or not, there will be plenty of activities for the whole family. Kids will enjoy games and face painting, and they can create their own Mr. or Ms. Tomato Head. Adults can attend informational presentations and demonstrations by experts and take a tour the Gardens. Admission is $4 for adults; $2 for Arboretum members and ages 3-12; ages 2 and younger are free. The Arboretum is located at 500 Alumni Drive
