North American Fruit Explorers
Although it's important to utilize local nurseries and garden centers as much as possible, when it comes to purchasing fruit plants, mail-order catalogs offer so many more varieties that it would be foolish to overlook them. Nursery, Resource, and Supplies Links provides a list of over 65 companies with catalogs and websites that offer a wide variety of fruit plants, including many rare, unusual, and heirloom varieties. While at the NAFEX site, be sure to check out the Related Web Sites section, which will give you hours of reading about growing fruits in the home garden.
