Seeing is the Seed
Discover your inner writer and the inspiration that plants and the landscape provides. Seeing is the Seed: Exploring the Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden and a place of your own with words on paper is a workshop is about the deep connection between storytelling and landscape (plants, too) -- essential for thinking about our own places in the world. This will be an enriching and fun activity. You will not be put on the spot to share your words on paper! But it will be a chance for you to find some surprising things within yourself. It is open to all; you don't have to consider yourself a writer. Instructor Paula Panich is a Los Angeles-based food and garden writer. The workshop takes places on two Sundays, January 26 and February 9, 2014, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Cost is $60 for members; $70 for non-members, and includes Arboretum admission. The Arboretum is located at 301 North Baldwin Avenue, Arcadia, CA.
