Healthy Home Gardening is a type of clearinghouse for identifying just about anything you run into in the garden. It is in blog format and photos can be submitted by any user. When you click on a photo, you get a page with more information about the insect, disease or plant. The site also has games, FAQs about gardening and even tips on taking good photos. It is a fun site, but remember that since anyone can post information, you must do a little extra research to make sure you have accurate information.

'Princess Caroline' Fountain Grass
This rich brown-maroon fountain grass is stunning in the perennial border or along a stream garden. It requires average, well-drained soil and very little else to be a brilliant focal point. It has wider leaves than the regular purple fountain grass so has a tropical appearance. It grows two to three feet tall and wide and blooms with brown-purple blooms in late fall. Hardy in zones 8-10, it is grown as an annual in colder parts of the country.
