Clever Gardening Technique
Use Clear Plastic Sheeting for a Bit More Nightime Warmth
To help concentrate daytime warmth and increase germination, cover seeding beds with clear plastic sheeting. Anchor down the edges with soil or rocks to keep out slugs and others critters that love the succulent sprouts and to keep the sheeting from blowing away. Be sure to remove it as soon as seeds begin to germinate.
