PHS Winter Programs at the Barnes Foundation Arboretum
The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS) will hold a new series of horticultural programs at the Barnes Foundation Arboretum in Merion, PA this fall. On Tuesday, October 23, professional garden photographer Rob Cardillo will start the series with a full-day Masterclass Workshop, Fall is for Photographs: Lessons from a Pro from 8 am to 2 pm. On Wednesday, Nov. 14, from 1 to 2:30 pm, the program will be A Focus on Fall Color. On Monday, December 10 from 10 am to 12 pm, Holiday Wreath Making will be held. The Pennsylvania Urban and Community Forestry Council Lunchtime Webinars
The Pennsylvania Urban and Community Forestry Council Lunchtime Webinars are part of a series to expand training and outreach opportunities on urban and community forestry topics. Many of the webinars offer ISA continuing education credits. These webinars were developed through a partnership of Penn State Extension, DCNR Bureau of Forestry, Pennsylvania Community Forests, and USDA Forest Service. Upcoming Lunchtime Webinars from 12:00 - 1:00 pm include "Large Maturing Trees" on Wednesday, November 7, and "Tree Risk Assessment for Community Trees" on Tuesday, December 4.
