Books

Preserving the Harvest
Making the Most of Your Glorious Glut by Jackie Sherman (Green Books, 2011) is British, so the measurements are in grams, converted to ounces. But beyond that quirk, the recipes are amazing and really do give you many more ways than you thought possible to use up the plethora of produce at the end of the season. The author gives tips on storing, freezing, drying, and preserving all manner of vegetables, including "bottling" produce. It's a fun read and the recipes are fairly simple and delicious.
