Take Your Time
As you cut things down in the garden, instead of going at it fast and crazy, spend a little time. As you cut stems, take the time to snip them into pieces and let them fall (unless there are disease problems, of course). This is a great opportunity to enjoy the wonderful fall weather and scents of autumn as you make your own mulch, and meditate at the same time. What a way to spend an autumn day!
