Soak Hanging Baskets
Hanging baskets made of wire and lined with porous materials such as moss or coconut coir to contain the growing mix require frequent watering. Fill a large container such as a galvanized tub with water and set the hanging basket in the tub, allowing it to thoroughly saturate the growing mix. Then set out to drain well and hang it back in place. Ferns are especially appreciative of a good soaking!
