'Pow Wow Wild Berry' Coneflower
The purple coneflower Echinacea purpurea 'Pow Wow Wild Berry' was an All-America selection in 2010, and for good reason. This stunning coneflower has intense rose-colored petals and a dark rose center. It grows to about 20 inches tall and will bloom from mid to late June to September. Like all coneflowers, this plant is tough enough to withstand drought conditions and will actually thrive in poor soil. Give it full sun to partial shade and pair it with yarrow and anise hyssop for a stunning combination.
